I'm looking to get into wholesaling and this does not sit well with me. It's never a good idea to try and markup your price so much and "pull one over" on someone else. That is just simply not good business. Glad you did your due-diligence and took a hard pass on the deal.

Thank you both. Who knows, Jody, I may be back to build up my portfolio in a few years.

Hello all. Just signed up and looking forward to building some connections. Right now I'm in the learning phase and am so thankful that I found this community. Started listening to the podcasts as well.

A little about me. I just got married in October to my beautiful wife, Amanda, who is an RN. We have a border collie and 2 cats and currently live in Omaha, NE but are moving out of state in March. My background is predominantly in sales and I have been searching for the right opportunity to create a future for my wife and I and am 100% confident that real estate is the way. I've ran my own personal training business before but it just wasn't the right fit for me because it didn't generate the income I'm looking for. I am huge into personal development and love to read and expand my knowledge and personal growth. Which, by the way, Rich Dad Poor Dad is the book that really helped everything click for me in terms of finding my path to getting into real estate.

I'm looking forward to building some long lasting connections in this community as well as profitable connections. Please feel free to reach out.
