Welcome aboard Samuel. Small is subjective. What are we talking here?

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me! I currently have a capital of 10k currently but am willing to work even more to increase this capital. However, as a student, I fear that I am unable to raise a huge amount of money in a short time. Do you have any advice on this?

Keep it in your pocket for now. It's pretty hard to get loans to buy U.S. properties if you are abroad & you can't buy anything reasonable for $10,000. Keep stacking the cash until you are ready to make a purchase. Never a good idea to try & throw your money in the ring before you're ready to. Once you've got $40,000 or so you can pick up some inventory in the Midwestern markets with cash. Although if I were you I'd probably wait until you can pick something up in the $50,000 - $60,000 range as the risk will be lower.

Sounds great, a friend of mine also suggested that as an option for me. May I know after I achieve this amount of money, what my next move should be?

Definitely, however, most, actually all of them have a large capital which allows them to invest as they wish in singapore. However, I do not have that luxury. Do u have any advice on this?

Hmm, if it is possible, I think it would be amazing if you could introduce me to this person. Thanks!

Because Singapore is such an expensive place to invest, can someone recommend me some good books on investing overseas? That will be a great help!

Thanks!

Hahahah, that is honestly disappointing to hear. Especially when investing overseas can prove to be a real hassle. Do u have any advice on the taxes/regulations there are on real estate in US? When a foreigner purchases one that is. Thanks!

Hello, I am a new investor who is aspiring for financial freedom but am having trouble starting up. This is because I currently live in Singapore where the properties here are sky-high which gives me little/no hope of entering this market. My government have strict regulations on HDBs and condos are just out of the question. I also have done some research and realized most Singaporeans are investing overseas which scares me because I no longer have power to oversee my properties especially if I do not have a capable property manager. A new investor like me would probably fail to get the ropes and investing overseas as my starting up property feels like an impending failure. It would be amazing if anyone could help me out of this dilemma, especially successful Singaporean investors.

P.S. I do not have a large captial and am currently a student too but I am willing to sacrifice my free time to achieve my dream.

Thanks

Sincerely,

samuel
