I’m new with investing and was looking into get business coach. Do y’all think it’s worth the price and if so who would y’all recommend using?

Hey, so I’m a new investor. Done 1 and working on 2 more if I can get the capital. Since I’m new and young my tax return shows I made almost no money last year working for my dad, the banks won’t loan me money. I have to start somewhere and need money so was wondering what y’all recommend? Do I try to get private loans from people I know or how would y’all go about doing it? I’ve put a house under contract and still don’t have money to pay for it and am hoping to close that in the end of January so I’ll need to get something quick! Thanks

-Samuel

Does anyone know of real estate meet ups near Seminole Tx? Some of the cities near me are Lubbock Tx and midland/Odessa Tx. Any pointers would be great!

@Daniel McNulty sounds good, thanks I’ll for sure check it out!

@Greg Dickerson I’m actually very new and trying to figure out the direction I want to go before taking the big leap, thanks for the advice!

@Bob Langworthy thanks a bunch for the advice, hadn’t really thought about COVID hitting the strip malls because I live in a little town where we haven’t really been affected but where I’d be investing has been effected. Also we’re really reliant on the oil field here and so with what’s happened with the election could possibly hurt our local economy.

I am owner financing one house and will be starting some rental properties, what app or what would the best way be to collect payments?

So I’m a new investor and have $60,000 or so in cash and was planning on doing some single family homes to start off with but now I’ve given it some thought and would single family homes be better or get start into commercial buildings such as strip malls and such?
