Welcome to BiggerPockets, Sam!

 Thank You

Greetings everyone. I am a long-time listener, and new poster here @ Bigger Pockets Forum. I inherited a home on the Westbank and I am slowly beginning to renovate it, as I start an new career with Tulane college.

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Cash invested: $2,000

I am currently working on an inherited property, so that I can rent my home out.

4 Bedroom 2 full bath. 900+ sq/ft Full brick home.

Currently rehabbing this house. Needs new flooring indoors in all areas (4 bedrooms, entrance way, hallways, 2 bathrooms and kitchen, 2 new windows, and 3 stand alone ac units for kitchen) Needs kitchen remodel, 1 possible new bathroom remodel.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I originally planned on selling the home, but after researching through Bigger Pockets lately, I have decided to hold and rent after a rehab.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I inherited this property.

How did you finance this deal?

I am currently paying off all my debt to allocate money into the rehab. I plan on doing some on my credit line and the rest on HELOC loan.

How did you add value to the deal?

Working on this now.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Currently I have reached out to one personal friend who is a real estate agent.
