Hey BP folks,

I will set up my LLC once I buy a property I won't live in, but this first one is a duplex I plan to house hack and I am really excited. Closing is set for July 10. So, the question is, what name do I give the business bank account that I will open for this property. I guess, the account could be used again for future house hacks, but eventually I will set up an LLC and the LLC can be the name on a different account? Do I just use my name for this business account for the house hack?

Thanks!

Sam

I plan on attending. I'll be coming from work, so I hope I'm not too late. See you there!

Hi BP Community.

Can I require that tenants pay for professional cleaning service at the end of their lease in North Carolina? If possible, would the funds come from security deposit? How would I write this into the lease?

Thanks!
