Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has some recommendations (or advice) on finding a General Contractor for work on a Craftsman remodel in Echo Park?

Looking at kitchen and bathroom remodel (with some painting and floor work).

So far, I've just been aimlessly looking through HomeAdvisor and Houzz but not sure this is the best way to go about it.

Thanks!

Post: Consultant for first deal?

Is there such a thing as a consultant I can hire to guide me through my first deal? Or is that not a thing?

I've got ~$200k that I can allocate towards deposits, but really know nothing about housing construction, how much rehabs cost, how to assess the condition of a building, etc so not sure how to really approach a 'fixer upper' and all the steps involved.
