When I ask this question because I am looking for a way to get my first check and do not live in a hot zip code. I literally live check to check. So my question is, is there a step by step manual  or something like that to get me from living check to check to getting my first check and repeating?

@Mark Durham Earnest money isn't what im concerned about. What I need money for is Marketing for finding motivated sellers but until then I need another way to reach them. @Amy Aziz yes depends on how great o a distance i would need to travel.

@Amy Aziz So I am located at the bottom of my state where its a low year round population so they don't do rei meetups and I haven't met many investors down where I am located so do you have any suggestions to where i can locate someone interested in the market that i am located in?
