Hello Everyone!

My name is Samire Radman and I joined BP back in January. My interest in real estate grew naturally last year from selling my home and buying a short sale. We had lived in our home for 5 years, did minor upgrades and made 71k when we sold. We then were patient with a short sale and got a steal on a beautiful home starting off with 75-100k in equity. My wife and I realized that there is something there if we are making money while just trying to find a home for our family to live.

I started to do some research and signed up for a free seminar I saw on FB. It was mostly a pitch to up-sale but I did get some good info and I was willing to invest in learning about REI. After I signed up there was a 3 day grace period to cancel so I really researched and found a lot of negative reviews. In the process I saw BP mentioned multiple times so I decided to cancel the 3 day seminar and instead signed up for my first BP webinar.

I got so much value out of that first webinar that it was an easy decision to pay for the pro! I have been watching webinars, listening to the podcast, analyzing homes and building my network. My goal is to at a minimum make my first deal this year but striving for more.

On a personal note, I am married with three beautiful kids and currently work full time as a helicopter mechanic. I served 6 years of active duty in the Marine Corps which is what got me into aviation. I also go to George Mason University full time and serve in the Air National Guard so needless to say I am so grateful for the BP podcast!

Annual of course, it was a dump question. Thank you Irina!

Hi Brandon, thank you for sharing your story! I'm new to BP and just got interested in investing in real state a few months ago so I apologize if this is a dump question. With your first 2 investments you said you spent $90000 for gross rents of $1650 which is a gross return of 20%. My question is how is that a 20% return? Doing the simple math that I know 1650 is only 1.8% of 90000 so what am I missing?

 $1650/mo x 12 month=$19,800/90,000=22%
