Hey Daniel, Whew, I’m sorry to hear about this happening. I know you are feeling discouraged, especially since this is your first investment and you’re so close to the finish, but just keep pushing through. It sounds like you have already taken action and moved the important items out and talked to the neighbors. You don’t have to make any big decisions right now about keeping or letting the property go, just keep pushing forward and adapt as necessary. Like others have mentioned, a security system, even a cheaper one like a Ring might be beneficial so you can get alerts/and monitor your house on your phone. Just let it be a lesson to take this experience with you as you continue to invest. Some of life’s best lessons are the ones we go through first-hand.

Post: How does starting an LLC affect....

Good Afternoon everyone,

This question is from my mom, she is 58 and owns several homes in Colorado, Arizona, and New Hampshire. She was considering applying for an LLC so that her and I could manage these properties together and begin adding to her portfolio. Another family member mentioned that if she started an LLC at her age she wouldn't be able to withdraw Social Security.

Is this statement true/are there negative repercussions for starting an LLC during this time?

Thanks for your help!

Thank you for the reply. I've seen this school show up in most of my searches. Can you tell me more about it? What's the set up like? Do you feel the online program was beneficial vs. an in person class? Did it help prepare you well for your exam?

I just started listening to the show a few months ago and I have heard many people say that you can invest money that's been saved for retirement. Can someone help me understand how it is possible to invest money that's been saved in a Roth IRA? I thought there were penalties if money was removed from a retirement fund before 59.5 y/o.

Good Afternoon,

Does anyone recommend a real estate school in Boston? Or know of an mentorship program/someone I could work for to build a skill set?

Thank you!

Good Afternoon!

I’m originally from Colorado but currently stationed in Boston, Ma with the Coast Guard. I’m looking to get out at the end of next year and would like to get into buying and selling homes. I’d like to work toward getting my real estate license so I can gain a better understanding of the business. I’m simply trying to find a stating point. Does anyone recommend a school out here for real estate? Know of a mentor that I could work for part time to gain experience ? Or have any advice on important steps I would be able to work towards between the job?

Any recommendations would be great! Thank you!
