Good Afternoon Bigger Pockets!

I am hoping to connect with other wholesalers in the Pikes Peak region. If this sounds like you, please get in contact and let me know how I can help.

Good Afternoon Bigger Pockets!

I am hoping that somebody can assist me in finding a reliable, investor-friendly title company in the Colorado Springs area which has experience with assignment contracts and/or double closings.

Thank you for reading,

Sam Brooks

I'm currently getting ready to transfer out of the military next year and I am still deciding where I will move to. For the more experienced investors reading this, where would you recommend a new investor move to, given a fresh start?

My best advice for you is to make the best of everything that life throws at you. Like Joe said earlier, don't let college make you. Take what is beneficial to you and use it, and grind through the rest. Use this time to learn as much as possible.

I'm basically brand new to real estate and I don't understand why people fall for stuff like this. I cannot imagine justifying paying over a thousand dollars to hear some guy play motivational videos and try and sell more stuff to the crowd.

Post: Finding total amount owed on a pre-foreclosure property

Hello everyone my name is Sam and I'm beginning my wholesale journey in the New Orleans area. I have a few questions specifically about pre-foreclosure properties that are coming up on an auction sale.

1. How do I figure out the total amount owed, including writ, liens, violations, remaining mortgage, etc?

2. Does that amount get paid at closing?

3. Does a buyer need to wait for that amount to clear with the county/parish before the home can be purchased?

Any info about wholesaling pre-foreclosure properties will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam

I'm also new, but the best way that I've been able to build my buyer's list is to join your local REIA and start making connections there.

How can I figure out how much the homeowner owes to the lender? When is it not worth it for the wholesaler?
