Thank you everyone! I'm still getting familiar with the app and the forums, so please excuse the lack of personalization in my response. I really appreciate all of your introductions and advice. I look forward to connecting with you all!

Hi Everyone, I'm excited to be a member of the site and hope to make valuable connections here! I'm currently working in Finance in the Chicago area - with hopes of branching out into real estate investing in the next year or so in the Milwaukee market area (hometown) - initially buy and hold rentals. With no previous experience in real estate, over the last few months, I have been taking advantage of the information presented on various podcasts (primarily Bigger Pockets, of course!), researching the industry and market areas of interest, in addition to general real estate readings to familiarize myself as much as possible. Over the next few months, I look forward to doing more networking, to further branch out and it is my hope that I will connect with a few of you all to gain more knowledge on the industry before I delve into my first project.
