Wondering what I should do/ what I should instruct my tenant to do. I have this covered parking spot attached to the garage and the back end collapsed and fell on the tenants truck. My insurance says they will not cover the vehicle and the roof damage will cost less than 1000 (my deductible) to fix. I'm gunna shop around independently for the time being to fix the car port. What would you do about the vehicle? He hasn't done anything yet? Do I have to pay his vehicle deductible? What's reasonable for me to offer?

I've never had something happen that damaged a Tennant's property before. Any advice for me or what I should be having him do would be greatly appreciated!
