Has anybody had any experience redeeming their Security Voucher from the NYC SOTA program? If so, is it easy or did they make you jump through hoops to prove that the tenant did not pay when the 1 year was up and/or that there were damages once they moved out?

@Charles Soper, thanks!

Hi All,

I am looking to develop a new construction multi-family product on a vacant lot that I purchased last year. The lot is located in an Opportunity Zone (Tax/Capital Gains Incentives) in Tampa less than 2 miles from the University of South Florida. Due to the location, this new construction project would easily attract students attending USF. Per, Hillsborough County Development Services and my architect the lot/zoning will allow for (4) townhomes.

Also, I own a duplex on the adjacent lot that I am looking to renovate in order to attract students and increase the rental income.

How would I go about finding an experienced multi-family builder in the Tampa area to partner with? What is the best way to finance such a deal?
