Post: Recommending a Tax guy in LA/OC area?

Can someone recommend an accountant in Los Angeles/Orange County area in CA?

I own a single SFR as an investment out of state. But plan to increase by 1 or may be 2 properties in 2014.

Also, any idea on what would be a reasonable cost for doing the taxes? Other than the properties my tax situation is pretty basic. I have always used TurboTax and my understanding is that it can help in calculating depreciation, deducting expenses but wanted to try an accountant this year and see how it goes.

Thanks

Thanks for the input.

So basically one gets the option agreement and it depends upon the person on how much of a value they sell it down the road for? Is there a generally acceptable figure on the markups, %age profit on such deals?

Thanks

I have a situation and was wondering if someone could provide some insights into it.

How to does one get compensated if one brings investors to a table?

Let's say someone is trying to buy commercial real estate (apartment buildings, strip mall etc) and is need of investors. If I can bring investors to the table, how should I be compensated and how much? Is it unreasonable to expect some commission/fees in this case?

Thanks
