What is the best bank or credit union for investors near the beginning of their journey.

Looking to build a long term relationship with with availability of checking & savings account and financing to purchase properties.

Have looked into several but can only tell so much from research and preliminary discussions to open an account.

@James Wise

Thank you for this thorough explanation of your thought process.

Would you be able to provide advice on how an investor can bring greater value to a real estate agent?

What are the best methods for new investors to connect with real estate agents?

Also what are suggested initial questions to ask to find a good fit for my investing goals?

@Nick Sansivero

I really don’t think big banks have to care about risk anymore with all the money they were given by the government at 0% over the last several years and ended up loaning it out at 4%+

Even if they make risky moves at this point they have basically been told the only people they have to answer to are the shareholders.

Is anybody looking for another person to talk real estate with, or need an accountability partner? I would like to find an investor around St. Charles/St. Louis that is looking for another friend basically! I do not have many people around me with an interest in real estate and I’d like to start being around/talking with other investors and possibly go to meet ups together and things of that sort. I am hoping to bounce ideas off each other, as I may have skills you don’t, and vice versa. Don’t hesitate to reach out for anything! Thank you

Hello BP Community!

I have been listening to the BP Podcast and reading everything I can get my hands on for the past year.

I know it’s a tough time to be starting out but now is better than never.

I am currently working almost everyday and finding it difficult to spend any time on myself or my family and am sick of it!

BP Community, would you be able to help me with tips for networking with like minded investors and professionals in my market?

Any helpful advice is welcome!

Thank you!
