Thanks for the quick response! My degree is in Information Technology. I graduated from community college over a year ago, and I'm now a senior at university. The W2 job I'm considering is in automotive window tinting, which isn't related to my degree, with a possible salary of $60k-$70k. While I know I can start a business making around $7k a month, my immediate goal is to house hack, and my concern is about qualifying for an FHA loan.

Any insights you have on this would be greatly appreciated!

I recently graduated from college and am considering taking a W2 job that is outside my field of study. Will having this job qualify me for an FHA loan, even though it's not related to my degree? I prefer not to wait two years to provide tax returns. Any insights or advice would be appreciated!
