@Mindy Jensen

Wow Mindy,

That is an awesome response. I see now the importance of saving money and building credit. I am just so excited to jump in but as you said I should take that save money, build credit approach so that I don't sink the REI boat that I jump on. You all have been very helpful in helping me see the light lol

Thanks so much for your input!!

Michael Henry thanks for your response. I know that save money build credit is a sure way to get the best results. I was just wondering for general purpose. I always respect any response I was just looking for an answer to that burning question. I think everybody wants to know how to get started with no money lol. But I appreciate your input and I am excited to learn all I can here. Now question, what do you know or think about buying properties for the delinquent taxes and how would you go about doing such a thing??

@Steve Vaughan Thank you for your input although my situation isn't nearly that bad. I appreciate your tips :)

@David Zheng I see what you are saying here, the way you broke it down makes sense...yes the process is slow for sure but it may be my only sure fire way of getting closer to my goal. I really appreciate your thoughts and inputs

@Sean Phillips

Thanks so much Sean, I appreciate your input so much and thank you for actually answering the creative part of the question instead of the typical "save money and build credit answer". Those are all useful tips. As far as partnering, how would that be possible with no money. What are other things that a partner may typically look for or do other investsors even do deals with people in my situation?

@Michael Henry

Thank you for your input. However, as mentioned in the question, I was looking for more creative ways to finance. I know that it is out there and so I'm seeking tips or ideas about that. The typical "save money build credit" is not so creative but more so traditional. I wont need a down payment with the VA loan. I asking for creative ways of finance....I want to know for my own information as well as general knowledge. I'm pretty sure I know where I want to live being that I live here in the area. Any ideas on creative finance would be helpful....

Thanks..
