Any advice on what questions or what to look for into an accountant that specializes in real estate? I keep hearing about how some accountants were able to deduct so much etc etc. I just need to find one.  When I speak with an accountant they reassure me that they know how to get the max amount of deductions. but what are some questions I can ask that will let me know that they know what they are talking about.

When looking for an accountant what are certain questions to ask to make sure you're getting someone who is good with real estate taxes?

@Brandon Turner

When looking for an accountant what questions would y’all recommend asking to know that they are the right fit?

@Brandon Turner

Could y’all talk more about “opportunity zone” properties. How to look up and invest in those properties. Any recommendations or personal experience?

I did use zillow at first for applicants and after the first applicant I switched over to the hand written application and a different screening service. Mainly because zillow doesn't give all the information and you're not able to print it out for your records and the background check and application is only available to view for 30 days. I would like to have a hard copy for my record. So thats why I wont use them in the future. Only to list my properties.

I haven't decided yet if I will use them to collect payment.
