Hi Mary, RockStar Real Estate in Oakville hosts a lot of classes/events for investors.  And the guys at Harbour Properties in Hamilton have quarterly events too.  Great for learning & networking.

@Rick Bevington @Edgar Soriano I'm investing in Hamilton.  I bought a single-family on the mountain last summer, and added a basement suite - it cash flows very well.  The top is rented for $1625, and the bottom for $1050.  I'm shopping for another at the moment in order to repeat the process!  This time I'm planning to legally convert to a duplex, rather than going with legal, non-conforming.  

I'd love to connect with any other investors working in the Hamilton-area.  And if anyone is looking to invest passively, perhaps we could partner together.  I have experience, a great team, and the time to manage the business, but need a partner with capital.
