My broker offers "floor time" opportunities for agents on a first-come-first-serve basis each month. You have the chance to take calls from people calling in about listings and things of this sort.

Does anyone have any expeierence with "floor time" with your broker, whether good or bad, and if so, do you think there is a better time than others? For instance Monday mornings vs. Friday afternoons etc etc.

Hey thanks for the welcome Danny!

The market here in San Antonio is holding steady, if not growing just a bit. I saw a report last week that the inventory for sale in San Antonio has significantly decreased compared to last year at the same time.

I am definitely starting to see a slowdown that is typically seen as the holidays get closer.

My name is Ryan Young and I am a licensed Realtor® in San Antonio, TX. I signed up for BP back in September and have really just been absorbing all the great knowledge and advice located in the forums and blogs since then, but today is the day I introduce myself.

I have been licensed for only four months and am only working it part time for now. I got married recently, on October 29, and hopefully will be moving towards concentrating full time on my real estate career within the next 4-6 months. I have a decent job that I cannot give up right now but want to provide a better life for my new wife and future children going forward, and I truly believe real estate will help me do that.

Along with building my network as a real estate agent, I want to start my first flip project during the first quarter of 2012. Eventually I would like to own multifamily units throughout Texas. I would also like to work closely with other investors to help them succeed in their ventures.

BP has been a great resource and I will use it as a tool in my arsenal to continually learn. Two of the biggest complaints I see in the forums is real estate agents not returning calls to investors and people not knowing how to calculate accurate wholesale and flip numbers. These two things I will take with me everywhere and it's things like this that make it so valuable.

Well, I have said enough. Hope to talk to all of you soon.
