It's 210 feet of Redwood. It was one of the higher bids (but just by a tad) but I factored in the reviews of the company.

The work was done by a company, not myself. The work has already been completed and I paid the contractor a week ago. They property management company stated the owner agreed to pay half but never said anything about a W9. This was all done through an exchange of e-mails. I'm just leery about giving out my social security to this company.

I have a single family rental in California - I just recently replaced an aging 15 year fence. The neighboring house is also a rental controlled by a property management company. The property management company is requiring me to fill a W9 to split the costs of the new fence. Total cost for that particular side is $3k which means we'd split it - $1500 each. Is a W9 required in this situation?
