Hey @Karen Smith, looks like a beautiful property in Hocking Hills.  We love it there and have also invested in larger multi-unit/property lots there for development (large lodge, smaller treehouse etc....  Would love to connect.  Have you started development on the 52 acres?

Hey @Aaron Mostoller, late to the party on your thread but here's a map I made last year outlining the markets in Hocking Hills, how many active rentals and marking out the main attractions.  Obviously closer to those attractions the more you can demand more revenue.  

Hope the helps to add one dimension of an answer to your question.  This was last year so the active rental numbers have grown a bit since then.

Anyone have any knowledge on the following?

(1) If I want to manage STR (AirBnB/VRBO) properties in Illinois do I need to be a licensed broker?

(2) Do I need a license to self manage my own property?

(3) How difficult is the exam/prep to obtain the needed license?

Does anyone know of a tool similar to AirDnA but that will show AirBnB /VRBO revenue data for time period prior to the last 12 months?  For example if I wanted to pull numbers on a property or market for years 2018 or 2019.  Thanks in advance!

Anyone have any recommendations for rockstar CPAs and/or real estate attorneys they've worked with in the past? Someone who really knows how these things apply to real estate. Thanks in advance!
