Hello,

I am trying to locate properties to wholesale. But before I approach a seller, I am looking for any recommendations for real estate lawyers in Houston who could review a whole sale purchase agreement. If you have had great experiences dealing with specific firms, I would appreciate the lead.

Thank you for your time and advice.

@Adam Hobson How did you go about accurately estimating rehab costs when you first started out? Do you talk to GCs or inspectors?

I know there have probably been plenty of posts looking for hard money lenders in Houston, TX but the only ones I’ve found are a couple years old. Who does everyone use nowadays? The names I’ve heard are Noble, Zeus, Jet, and so far I’ve contacted Catalyst.

Anyone have consistently good experiences with one or another? And any horror stories about any of them?

Thank you,

Hello,

I am new to real estate investing and live in Houston, TX. I know the city and the areas pretty well but not from a housing perspective. I was looking for some opinions of what to watch out for such as:

1. Is the market strong?

2. Are certain areas better for flipping and others better for rentals?

3. Is there anything specific about Houston that I need to watch out for? Laws, problems etc. For instance I was told there has been issues with getting permits lately.

Any insight you could provide would be much appreciated.

Thank you.
