First-time Landlord here, trying to avoid any pitfalls. I recently received an application from a potential tenant, and everything looks good so far. However, when I attempted to contact her employer, she only provided an email address. I sent an email, but it came back as undeliverable.

Is this a red flag, and should I move on to other applicants? Or should I reach out to her and let her know I was unable to contact her employer? Maybe ask if she has a different email, if the email provided is correct, or if there’s a phone number I can call instead?

Would love to hear your thoughts and advice. Thanks!
