About Paintly

We’re building something great and we want you to be a part of it. Paintly was created to solve a problem: the need for fast, easy, quality painting services at amazing prices. The company doesn’t put customers first; it puts its painters first, only then can the Paintly team deliver the best possible product to our customers. We’re hyper-focused on the customer too, and it shows in our guarantees:

  • 48-hours or less to have us on site for a free estimate
  • 1-hour turnaround time for the customer’s itemized quote
  • 1 day wait, if for some reason the customer is not completely satisfied
  • 2% of top-line revenue donated to a charity of our team’s choice, every year

We make the process for both our painters and our customers as easy and enjoyable as possible. Work should be fun, not a struggle. Keep you day job, and earn more with Paintly.

Paintly provides its painters with a sense of purpose and financial freedom (we pay based on production, not an hourly rate that stifles results). We also have profit sharing options for “Partner Painters” who show exceptional ability to lead, manage, and drive revenue.

Paintly delivers an unrivaled service to its customers while making the process easy and professional from start to finish. We refuse to lose even one customer, no matter what the situation presents.

What you’ll do as part of the Paintly team:

  • Effectively communicate with customers - including all estimates. It's your job, start to finish
  • Market the Paintly name
  • Earn more than your other painting job and have more fun. Oh, and never run out of work. If you do, we pay you to stay in our network (for doing nothing other than being available)

What we’re looking for to join the Paintly team:

  • 1+ years of experience (we care more about passion than experience)
  • Must be licensed & insured (or working towards licensure)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Consent to a motor vehicle check / background check
  • High school degree or equivalent educational experience preferred; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
  • Good communication / interpersonal skills while providing quality customer service
  • Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within allotted time frame
  • Able to work well with others (and independently), with little or no supervision. (We don’t—and won’t—micromanage)
  • Superb attention to detail (every job must be reviewed with the customer)
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • An excellent painter (of course)

So what are you waiting for? Apply now by submitting your experience/education, your career goals, and why you think you’ll be the right fit for Paintly. We look forward to meeting you.

I'm looking to partner with a builder or contractor who wants to invest in properties in the greater Detroit area. I'm a buy and hold investor who, up until this point, has invested primarily in Grand Rapids. I own and operate a firm in GR, but I'm looking to start a company in Detroit that offers a full suite of services, including but not limited to renovations, rental properties, property management services, and flips.

If you're interested in learning more and discussing the possibility of working together, please contact me at [email protected] or visit www.whiterapidhomes.com and leave me a message.

Hi Kyle- Apartments with 80+ units are hard to find, but they certainly do exist in Detroit. You’d be more likely to find something in the 30-50 unit range, especially in more desirable neighborhoods. I still maintain that multi-family is the way to go in Detroit as single-family homes in decent neighborhoods are hard to find. Lofts are overvalued for the most part right now, at least in my opinion. Commercial properties are also a good bet as more and more businesses are moving their operations downtown. I primarily invest in Grand Rapids, MI, but my partner and I are looking to get into the Detroit market is some fashion, whether that’s investing or property management.
