Hi everyone I wholesale amd was just curious as to what others were doing to utilize Craigslist for sellers. Everyone has the "we buy houses" ads in the real estate services section which for me bring very little to no motivated sellers. But I know there are plenty of sellers on Craigslist. Just curious to know what other wholesalers are doing on Craigslist to attract those motivated sellers thanks in advance

Find an investor to work for maybe a wholesaler or someone doing rehabs in your market. Put out signs for them. Write letters anything to make their life easier and don't ask for any money. Just watch what they do and absorb all of that knowledge .

@Cass R. Smith code enforcement called me once last summer .. Other than that other wholesalers stole my signs

@Cass R. Smith that's what's up you found a hot spot. On my side of town my signs wouldn't last more than a week or so at the busy intersections.. Do you tell the sellers you are putting signs in the yard? I was thinking it might be a problem with sellers who still live in the area as opposed to out of state owners.

@Ryan Harris These signs can be good at times, but most of the time they'er really bad. People just don't like it in the community, and those who call on the authority then it can get really ugly.

Personally I like them but sadly to say some cities frown upon them. I will use other method of getting leads such as my website, and running ads in the local paper. The object will be to get people over to the site, and allow your site to do all the work from there.

Exactly Antonio they got me my first two deals but after that I made the decision that they are not worth the trouble of code enforcement looking for me and people always stealing them or throwing them away too much trouble after o spend a whole night putting them out

I hate them. I've been known to tear them down in my neighborhood. Even worse are the people who use them to sell puppies.

 Lol

Most cities and counties have ordinances against these signs. I used to use then until a fellow BP member pointed out that we are breaking the law by posting them, which makes us criminals.

I don't want to go into business with someone willing to break the law, and neither do most honest people.

I've used my last bandit sign, and I will not call anyone using them - no matter how good the deal looks.

Great points I don't use them anymore too problematic
