I am buying a house with cash from a heloc that I have out. And planned on getting a small bank loan for 70k or so for the rehab. Any better ideas for acquiring the rehab money? Bank loan would be 9%-11% or so.

Just for reference:

Purchase price: 60k

Rehab: 70k

ARV: 190k-200k

Thanks!

Very helpful, thanks everybody!

Quote from @John Underwood:

First of all you should consider listing on Vrbo. That is were 100% of my bookings are coming from now, nothing  from Airbnb.

We have a super capacity washer and dryer and our cleaners wash everything while they are cleaning.

You can find cleaners that will take the laundry off site and wash it for you.

Thanks John! Yes I plan on using VRBO as well. Thanks for the input

Hey!

I am renovating my first property on the lake for Airbnb. It's a cool small 750 sf A-frame house. The property does not have a washer/dryer/laundry room. I was thinking about what to do when guests leave and we need to wash the sheets and towels. Are there cleaning/management companies that provide clean sheets/towels each time they clean the home as well? Or do I need to figure out a different solution? Thank you!

Hello!

I am buying an a-frame cabin near a lake to brrr into an airbnb rental property. Do you know of a good BP pod episode for this specific situation? I'm sure there are quite a few but I thought I'd ask and I want to dive in and make sure I'm not missing anything. Also, any other recommendations for things to look out for and what numbers that YOU look for? (cap rate, monthly cash flow, etc) Thank you so much!
