@Luke Trovinger thank you for the detailed reply. I’ll do just that, I appreciate the insight and I want to go into this with a leg up.

Good morning everyone, I’m new to the world of real estate and I’m planning on buying my first home in a few months. Just had a few questions and I’m looking for a little advice if anyone can spare some.

What should I be looking for in a real estate agent? Should I even be considered about the “quality” of my agent? Also are there any tips/tricks in find a great deal. I’m not in a huge rush and I have time on my side. Are there negotiations that can be made to save me extra cash?

Also I’ve heard the market is expensive right now, is this true throughout all states? I’m moving up to Alask, and was wondering if anyone had insight about the market up there.

Thanks for your time guys/gals have a great day!

@Bruce Lynn thanks for the detailed response Bruce. I’ll look into Groupon because I need to prep prior to taking the exam.

Hello everyone my name is Rusty and this is my first post on BP! Seems like a great resource so I wanted to take advantage of it and get advice from others who have been in this business for awhile. I’m brand new to real estate and wanted to start working towards my license online. I’m from Texas and there are several options out there. What are the things I need to look for whenever choosing a program? I’m not trying to overpay but I’m not trying to be cheap either. I’m just looking for a quality course that make sure I have the tools to prepare.

Thanks you guys😊
