Thanks for the response. So, The actual cost around the are the house price should be 600 to 650 thousand, however seller's asking price is 399,000. his condition to the buyer is to remove the oil tank and quickly close by November 22nd. I know there would be a lot of people who would see the place offer as it's on MLS. My question is in a bad scenario how much would be cost for removal of the oil tank? and should I go even forward? Thanks so much for your help.

Hi all, I am trying to place an offer letter for a house, that has two uninsured underground oil tanks. asking Price is reasonable with fast closing seller asking. Should I go forward with placing an offer? thanks

Hello, I found a house, whose asking price is 535000. rental income currently is 3100/month. even if manage to put down 20%down payment, the monthly mortgage comes 3787/month. the advantage is it has a basement which can bring rental income of at least 900-1000. The question is it legal to rent out the basement or if not how to legalize it? I am in north eastern zone. Thanks

Hi all, I am a new investor. I saw a house yesterday, I did like it, However, its in flood zone. My plan one day converted the garage space to make a living area. Since it's in a flood zone , I am hesitate to go forward to make offer and it's multifamily and asking price is around 700. I hard flood insurance cost in my area is 5000/year, however house tax is 9000, relatively lower than the other house around, which is good. Since it's big amount of money to invest, can you guys place some insight whether I should move forward ? Thanks for your insight.
