I'm currently trying to negotiate a contract for lease option with a seller. I have pulled 2 documents to use as a reference, however, I keep running into lawyers that don't seem to know very much about how to write one up. Does anyone have any firm recommendations?

Hey guys, anyone have a recommendation on a Lease Option contract template (i.e. rent-to-own)? I am currently drafting one from scratch and would like to have a couple to compare from. I have pulled at least 3 from online, but would like to have a couple more to have a better idea of how to type one out completely before having an attorney look through it.

Thank you for the welcome. I agree, markets are going to be interpreted differently, based upon personal perspective and location. Great point! Also thanks for the information about Airbnb, my fiance and I used that a lot during our clinical rotation travels in grad school and can see the tremendous value in it.

I think that's a good point. I might just do that and pitch it to some local people to see what we can get going. I know there are some meet-up's that get together to play the Cash Flow game by Robert K. and that might be a good introduction as well. :)
