I was looking into investing in real estate education to acquire the knowledge and be around like minded individuals.  However, I know the same is available through bigger pockets just need to keep at it. It would be great to develop a relationship with someone to move things along.   I lived in Pompano Beach for 31 years, where are you.?

Thank you for the reply.  I am very interested to say the least like many many others. I just need to acquire the knowledge to have the confidence to move forward. I have the confidence in myself just need more knowledge.  Trying to decide on putting out some money to move things along quicker or gain the knowledge on my own.

At this point just trying to get educated I real estate.  I am 59 and would like to get my feet wet flipping and mainly acquiring rental property. I am not looking to set the world on fire but build a base of knowledge to help plan for retirement through real estate.    I have been reading books and listening to podcasts.  I am considering renates for the knowledge and the immediate exposure to people in the business since having mentors is important.   Any thoughts out there?  My current job is retail management but for many years I was a pool contractor in Fl. so I have a lot of experience dealing with people and contractors. I know it required hard work and there are many challenges but with the proper education I feel it would be a great fit.
