@Matt Bell Hello do you have any Realtors or PM recommendations for the Montgomery area?

Hello everyone,

I’m a new BP listener and member. My husband and I are both in the military and we are living overseas. We are looking into buying an investment property in the states, but don’t know how to get started.

I was thinking about the Hampton Roads Virginia area. However, I know it'll be more challenging since we are living on the other side of the world. Would a VA loan be a good option, or traditional? Or is paying cash the best?

Also, I am 1 year away from retirement from the AF, so I would be able to put more time into investing. Goal is to not have to go back to work and live off of my pension and investments. Any resources you may have will be great. Thanks.
