@Joe Sanzone - thank you!

@Lee Bell - thanks - didn't even think about comps. Good point about it being a headbanger lol

@Arthur Ibewuike - thank you! Resale value is something I would have to think about, especially in Massachusetts

@Steven Warner - haha, thanks!

Thanks @Andrea Townsley. That was my first impression 100%, the "this is weird" b/c I'm so accustomed to seeing one.

Ezequiel, I completely agree with Jeremy. This is exactly what is and has happened in Boston. Its all spilling over from Boston into the next cities. This is where the new restaurants are popping up, where updated infrastructure is being put, and the money and demand is right behind.

@Anthony Rosa - This was a split level ranch I was looking at so you are spot on. Great points on storage and utilities

I'm so glad I asked. It's so funny how different regions build differently. Thanks for all the input. You all made some great points about the cons of a basement and here I am thinking about the cons of not having a basement!!

@Brian J Allen - thanks. I didn't think the Paw Sox would be that great of a value add, but I didn't know if current home owners were afraid of potential traffic concerns or if they thought the addition of the Paw Sox would increase demand and so decided to put their homes on the market. I agree with everything you said and that is why I am considering looking in Worcester.  I also like that its a good mid point to Boston and Springfield. Also, thanks for the info on the electrical and plumbing upgrades. Do you have a favorite neighborhood or two that you enjoying working in?

@Geordy Rostad - it's slab. It seems that it shouldn't be a deterrent then

@Lauren Kormylo and @Kris L. that is so interesting to me. Guess I'm just use to seeing them all the time that I just didn't think about it.

Thanks for the replies. Very helpful!
