Hello all,  I'm new to the forum, so be gentle.

My husband and I have been running our real estate company for about a year.  We've finished our first renovation and are seeking our second.  We have lofty goals and would eventually like to see our business expanded into a multilevel operation.

There is a point to all this,  I swear.

As we move forward I've taken charge of all online and social media.  I believe that I've created a fun and memorable voice for our brand and I'm very intrigued with this level of marketing.  However,  I wonder how valuable this is in the long run. Will a billion followers on twitter ever equate to more business (especially in real estate) or am I wasting energy focusing on this? I'd really appreciate any insight you might have for me.

Thank you!
