I was on my way home from an appointment, and came across this house that sparked my interest. It literally looked as though it had been abandoned. When I got back home and did a little research I found out that the owner had passed a little over a year ago. What should be my next steps in order to try and acquire this property?

Hey Kobe, I'm at City Real Estate in Ennis, Tx. I really do like my brokerage and there's really not many options for me as I'm a full time employee at a family business as well (I kinda feel trapped).  To that statement however, I'd like to become full time realtor/ investor and have more time for my kiddos. Is that possible? I don't know. Is it worth a shot? Damn straight it is. So my goal is to search for a "tutor" if you will to help me advance as both realtor and investor. Many thanks for your input.

I'd say the main thing I feel that I may need for being a realtor is a mentor. Now that sounds bad, because technically I do have an appointed mentor through my brokerage. She is very good at being a realtor, and very good at answering calls when I have a question. However, I don't feel that just answering questions over the phone is quite enough. I feel that there's training to be had that I haven't received. I know you may say change brokers, but I live in a small town 35 miles south of Dallas, Tx (and there's just not a whole lot around here). So I was thinking about hiring (outside of my brokerage) a coach/mentor/teacher or whoever may be available that can help me learn and master as much as I can on both the realtor (agent) and investor sides. Thanks again

I’ve recently went active (on the market) with my first flip. I’d like to know how and where to find a coach in my area to help streamline my process for the next project. Anyone?

I’ve been a realtor slightly over a year now. While I feel pretty confident in the heat of the moment, I still feel a touch of doubt within myself. Which leads me to this question. How and where do I find a coach for this business in my area?
