Thanks for the quick replies. Very much appreciated!

@Cassandra, your reply seems to be the best fit for me.

You are absolutely right, "...worste they can say is, 'no'".

Hello from Los Angeles, Ca. (Canoga Park),

Is there a place to start at the bottom and "Climb the Ladder"?

I am currently between jobs. I believe it would be far more productive to find an entry level job in REI. This will provide a hands on learning experience and personnel investment for the team I become a part of.

I considered jumping into wholesales, but realized I need more knowledge.

I am a Craftsman (achieved Journeyman Carpenter, Plumbing Tech., former GC-B) with experience in property maintenance, custom cabinetry, tile, masonry, fencing and vinyl, and minor electrical... although I've always been proud of my work, I've never felt passionate about it as I do REI.

I know I can be a great addition to a team, but i haven't figured out where to start. I look forward to your advice...

You may be able to get a rough estimate by breaking it down as price per square foot, in comparison to the varied comps of the area.

...just an idea. I am new to all of this and will start with wholesales.

Best of luck to all!
