Quote from @Wayne Brooks:

@Ronald Benson Yes, you have to make sure it is the first mtg foreclosing….not a second mtg or hoa, and check for back taxes, etc. More importantly, there no great bargains there…people are paying at or close to market value.

Thank you!!!

Hey there!

I am looking to potentially purchase a condo/single family home to live in and refi down line in the Miami area. However, I have this huge fear when it comes to auctions. Titles, being occupied are my biggest fears. But I know it could be a great reward in the end.

Anyone have any experience in Miami or Broward County? Advice?

Hi, I am potentially sitting on 80-100k of equity. To do rehab, 35-45k. And would take a month to complete.

Hello,

I currently have equity in my primary home that I cannot access traditionally due to crazy year after a divorce. I would like to access the funds to consolidate debt and finish rehabbing my house to rent it out. Pleeeeease advise.

Hello,

I was having a conversation with a fellow investor and he mentioned that some of his deals is when he approaches homeowners that are behind on their taxes and offers them deal. Absorbs their back taxes and cut them a piece and in return he gets the deed. Now, is it possible that one could search the sherif sale auction and approach the owner and do the same thing even though the city is already set to auction off the house?

Thanks for any input you may share :)
