@Ray Lai yeah there is base housing, but people (like myself) do live off of base, definitely a place for rentals. Only the numbers have to make sense. I guess I am hesitant to find deals, put them under contract and then not find buyers out here. Hence why I am willing to drive to Palm Springs and try to find places out there. I would appreciate any tips you may have. I will be in touch.

Hey fellow BP'ers, military moved me from WA to the wonderful Desert Oasis of Twentynine Palms CA. I am looking to network with local like minded people who do anything and everything real estate. There are a lot of vacant/abandoned homes I see around here (29 Palms) just not sure if they would be worth anything or if anyone would want to invest out here. Still have to do my homework. Instead of keeping it local, I have started to drive for dollars and send direct mail to homeowners closer to Palm Springs area where I know there is better potential and a higher demand. I still have to set up shop (i.e. find local investor friendly Title & Escrow companies who would do double closings etc and build my buyer's list). Just reaching out on here to see if there is anyone else in the local area whooping it on, just looking to network.

I put out 500, no calls from flyers yet. I use door hangers and business cards I put out while driving for dollars and door knocking. At the end of the day its a hustle and numbers game.

Good morning BPers,

I am on the fence about using flyers and am hoping you guys can provide me with some insight. Part of me wants to get flyers and target cars in parking lots and the other part of me thinks it may be a waste of time and money. I know that at the very least it would get my name out there but can it generate any leads? Has anyone been successful with flyers on random cars in parking lots? I was thinking Walmarts (everyone loves Walmart) and local churches to start. I put myself in the recipient's shoes and ask myself what would I think of this Romeo guy and his Elite Home Buying Services if he left a flyer on my car? Would I care to call him? Maybe if the verbiage is right? I don't know, maybe I am over thinking things. Instead I should just get out there and continue to hustle and grind. What do you guys think? Flyers or no flyers? Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you guys. Hope everyone has a great and productive weekend!

Hey BP community, just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. My name is Cesar, everyone calls me Romeo though.  I am a licensed real estate agent in California but currently live in Bremerton Washington where I am focusing on wholesaling/investing (also working on getting my license here). Basically on here to learn and contribute to the community when I can. Looking fwd to networking and learning as much as possible from everyone.
