Hi John,

What company did you end up using?

Thanks!

Thank you for your comprehensive replies!  SUPER HELPFUL! @Nathan Gesner and @Drew Sygit

I have a single family section 8 property in Syracuse and am currently in the market for a manager.

Thanks!

@Johnny Drago

Thanks for the in depth reply, do you have any section 8 properties?

@Taylor L.

I currently have one section 8 unit in upstate NY but I live on the West coast.  Specifically, I would want to ask about others experience with management of out of state units to see if we have similar experiences or lessons learned.

Im looking to connect with other investors that have out of state properties with professional management in place and compare experiences.

I purchased my first investment property, a section 8 single family rental in Syracuse NY, under my name. I am contemplating creating an LLC to hold the property in and would like to hear from other fellow NY state investors. I only have the one property for now. Should I create an LLC or keep it under my name for now? Would love to connect with other investors and hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

Hi Lisa, would you still recommend the replacement cost policy?
