Hey Bryan I'm looking to get into buy/hold with multi family units, preferably 16+ units but realistically probably start out with a 4plex and progress from there. What type of investing are you interested in?

Hello my name is Rogelio I am from Kearns, UT and have been a member on BP for a while but haven't really been as active as I know I could be so I figured I would reintroduce myself.

A little bit about me, I'm 27 years old, I currently work in manufacturing and also Day Trade part time for the time being. My twin brother and I are both interested in investing in real estate. We both got our houses a couple years ago, but I did not use my VA loan at the time and both want to invest in multi family units.

Our big goal with REI would be to invest in bigger multi family units but for now start with a 4plex and go from there. We both have big plans and are looking to get financially free which is the main goal. Day Trading and REI will get us there, but I hope to gain as much knowledge about real estate as I can to be able to succeed and be FREE!

Hello everyone I tried posting this before but I guess it didn't get payed so I'll try again. I'm looking to invest in real estate in the near future with my brother as my 50/50 partner and had a question that hopefully child get answered on here.

My wife and I got a FHA for our house back in 2015 and both my brother and I still have our VA loans which we plan on using to invest. my question is how hard would it be to get a loan for another property if both my brother and I currently have one for both of our homes?

We're looking to invest in multi family, hopefully one day we can get big multi family properties but we would like to start smaller. Hopefully someone in here can help clarify this a bit, thanks!

Thank you for your inputs. I do understand that it's not a get quick rich thing. I plan on building my portfolio over the years and I have written long term goals and continue to stay on track, I have good momentum and so far everything is planning out smoothly. I've also reached out to a couple friends in real estate who I know can help but they haven't replied yet.

I don't plan on jumping in 100% yet, I figured I'd try to get licensed first and have another job in the mean time. I also day trade so that will with my long term goals.

Hey everyone first off I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but not sure where else to post. I'm looking to invest in real estate in the near future and though I'm still new to this, I feel that a good way to learn more about real estate is to switch careers to gain more knowledge. Is that a good idea?

I'm reading and studying on the ins and outs of real estate investing and plan to continue educating myself but I feel that I could get more hands on experience going as a real estate agent to get a better grasp of it all.

I plan on leaving my current job in a couple months for other reasons so any input on this would help me decide if it's a good idea or not.

Thanks for welcoming me to BP! I do plan on doing a lot more studying especially from this website, lots of good info here! I actually plan on meeting up with my buddies this week to not only start picking their brains but hopefully start out some type of planning to get us looking forward to the future.

Hello my name is Rogelio I'm 26 years old, I currently work in manufacturing but within a month I'll be starting my Day Trading venture. I'm also interested in investing in real estate with my twin brother but it's all still kind of new to me. I just purchased my first home with my wife a year ago and would like to start with a multifamily, preferably a 4 plex and go from there.

Both my brother and I served in the Marine Corps. Reserves for 6 years but didn't use our VA loans to purchase our homes at the time so we have those available. I have a couple buddies from my unit who have years of experience in real estate and as lenders, so they will be helping us out through it all.

Our main goal is to own as many units as possible to achieve our goal of financial freedom! But for now I'm trying to learn as much as I can before I take my next step forward. Thanks!
