Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $120,000

3 bed, 1 bath from 1956

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

close to NMSU

How did you finance this deal?

I lived in this house with a regular mortgage for several year then transitioned to a rental after i moved out of town

Lessons learned? Challenges?

The housing market fell out just after purchase and has not fully recovered. It is worth more as a rental than trying to sell.
