@Christopher Lane My wife has always been supportive of me. However, she was struggling as well to see how this would make us money. She did not see the bigger picture of how investing in real estate could replace one of our day to day jobs. So one day we had a three hour drive and she was doing work form the passenger seat. I asked her if she wouldn't mind if I listened to a podcast I like to listed to on long drives. Me being me I put on a bigger packet podcast within 15 minutes into the podcast she stopped working and was intrigued in the podcast. We listened to three more that day. She also just finished reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, that I recommended she read. After reading the book and listening to the podcast everything clicked. We just looked at a 6-plex today that needs rehab. The old her would have said no as soon as we walked into the building. She looked at me and said lets put in a offer.
