Thanks very much for the responses I really appreciate it. The property is paid for I had received a loan from my uncle but I have been trying to refinance ever since to get his money back and get financing so I can move on.

But I will try more banks. Thanks again

Hello fellow investors!!

I from Missouri and I live with my mother while starting to invest in real estate. I have one rental property. It has been tough trying to refinance this property the companies do not like the fact that I do not own a residence for myself.

I want to know if there is any other way to get around to successfully refinance without owning my own residence while having a rental.

Thanks

Thanks for accepting me Brandon Turner i appreciate the advice. have also checked out most of the beginning guide so far.

Thanks James Vermillion as well, I wish you the best of fun and richs with that business plan as I will follow the same as well for the most part.

Hopefully I will be closing on my first multi-family within the next week or so. 2 family, $38K, comes with one tenant and one to move in during the process of purchasing. 2/1 rents for $500 and 3/1 rents for 600 and they pay everything and cut the grass hopefully a great experience for my first. Wish me luck

Thanks Marco and Ben for the encouraging words. I'll let you know I'm not one to hold back any questions I may have. I believe as of right now my first project will be a buy and hold multi-family I'm pretty sure it will be a fun experience for me I just don't want to cut any grass of course LOL but i'll live.

Hello BP community I have been checking out the site for a while now and I feel now is the time I get more active on here to reach my goals for this year faster. So far have attended 2 seminars gaining mentors, knowledge and friends who share and want the same things out of life as I do. I have been against the wall on whether to buy and hold or buy in flip in this crazy market I know both won't hurt. I plan on making local and distant friends and mentors on Bigger Pockets.
