The property is in the Walnut Hill area off N 34th st. (I know, not the greatest area). I was also looking to see about getting section 8 approval as my new tenants have already failed to pay rent since buying the duplex in Oct. Does anyone know the process or where i can find that information to get started? Everywhere I look i can only find info on getting approved for section 8 as a renter but not as a landlord getting it approved and PMI has been no help.

Thanks again

Im looking for a good property management company in Milwaukee. Im an out of state landlord on my first property and need someone that is actually worth it. Currently im with MPI and i DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone use them. Great with the interview but horrible once the contracts signed!!

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi, I just bought my first duplex in Milwaukee for a rental investment. Im looking for contractor referrals to get a unit rental ready. Nothing too major or expensive but paint, wall repairs, a roof repair and just generally fixes to get everything in order. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Im a first time investor living in california, I have an opportunity to purchase a SFR in Buckeye AZ for well under market value (Tax lien sale essentially buying out my partners) the house is a 2005 4/2 new flooring and paint. i was wondering if anyone had insights or experience in the rental market, vacancy etc. and if this would seemingly be a good purchase or if i should take my profits and invest in other market. Sale about $140,000 and median rent is $1250. Appreciate any feedback
