Looking to get out of the damn cube! Here to find something that I am extremely passionate about. Would love to be able to help a company manage and/or help renovate properties full time.

I am licensed general contractor and am proficient in all aspects of construction. To be specific;

    • Years of experience in framing to all stages leading up to the final finish in residential properties as well as commercial.
    • Built a few houses with just a one man crew from frame to finish. These homes proved to be the cornerstone of my growth where I gained the most confidence and experience.
    • I specialize in most aspects of construction – for example – decks, interior kitchens, bath renovations, and additions.
    • Proficient in drywall, rough & finish carpentry, finish painting to all exterior renovations as well.
    • Recently flipped a house in Mansfield Massachusetts which was a full gut.
    • This project was crucial for my construction knowledge and was even able to turn a nice profit.
    • I have a great understanding and knowledge of managing renovations from estimating as well as scheduling.

Graduated form Wentworth in Construction Management, which eventually helped me get the job I currently have as a project manager. My current employer is a specialty contractor focusing on just one aspect of construction. My goal is to find employment that can utilize the construction versatility I possess.

I am reaching out for anyone that can point me in the right direction, anyone that knows of any job openings that are currently available or anyone who just wants to network and talk construction and real estate.

Feel free to message me direct or reply to this post if you need and further information or have any feedback!

Thanks for reading,

Rob

Hello I am currently a Project Manager for a construction company out of Boston, Massachusetts. I am also a Licensed General Contractor who does a lot of work on the side. I am looking to get out of my office and back into the construction industry and/or property management world.

Is it worth me getting the plus membership so I can post a job search in the Marketplace forum? Has anyone had luck finding jobs through this forum?

Thanks for the response @Brian Ortins and @Shaun Reilly

I will look into those networking events.

I am looking for residential houses that I can flip. I have been in the Residential Contracting industry my entire life so can handle just about every trade from the ground up, minus electrical and plumbing of course. Really think this benefits me by keeping my Sub Contractor overhead down as I tackle another property. Want to find a potential flip property yet if a rental property came along I would not look the other way. I have also toyed with the idea of building a property as I have a strong background in residential framming.  I currently have a two family and hope to add to that as time passes. I flipped my first house in Mansfield a few years back and worked out well for me. Thought is to do a couple more flips to gain revenue in between acquiring rental properties?

I currently live in the Foxboro area so am willing to travel anywhere that is not too far from home base, Mansfield, Attleboro, North Attleboro, Planville, Wrentham ect..

Currently working full time as a Project Manager for a construction company. Although it is a great learning expierence, I hope to eventually be renovating and selling properties full time.

Thanks everyone for your feedback!
