I just recently started buying rental properties. My first one was in Orland park and I'm working on buying a second one now. Pat, I have noticed that the Orland Park area has good taxes compared to the surrounding areas (Mokena, Frankfort, Palos Park, Homer Glen). I'm working on buying my second rental property. Does anyone know of any real estate investing groups or clubs in the area, I am also looking for a quality lender and realtor with experience in rental properties.

Sorry for not being clear. I was asking, owner occupied or non-owner occupied. I was told that I would be able to get around it no problem, but it just didn't seam right to me. Do people really do this and get away with it?

I am buying my first piece of investment/rental property. I plan to use it as a long term investment. I do not have a mortgage and I do not rent. Should I get a home loan or an investment loan? Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
