I joined about a year ago and my life went to heck in a hand basket. Since then I have moved to Jacksonville, Fl with my 15 yo daughter and took time to get settled in. Now I am ready to start learning and working.

Does anyone in the Jax area know of someone I could get with to learn the industry. I am willing to do all the leg work. I am looking for a mentor or sponsor.

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome. As for brddoging i would love too but again totally ignorant to the subject i wouldnt know where to start. I have read the guide and I am reading more things as well. My education is just beginning.

I already posted my intro, however i am not sure where to post this. so I'm posting here.

On Craigslist there were two adds basically stating that they would mentor and put up all the funds for buying properties. One was posted by James Allen Real estate the other was Scott Rowe.

Anyone know anything about these two?

My Name is Ronald (Ron)

I am a new member here, i fond this site like most have looking to learn about the industry and how to make money in it.

I am currently put of work for the third time in 4 years. Therefore I am now looking to take charge of my future. I am a 49 year old man with some education. I worked 16 years a a designer in the engineering industry until i was laid off on 09. After sending out over 250 resumes and having every door shut in my face. I started driving a over the road 18 wheeler. This all most cost me my wife, and I lost that job back a few months ago. I took a local driving job only to be replaced by Mexican nationals flown in specifically to replace 36 american drivers.

Ok; enough of my sob story. I am here to learn the industry and learn it better than anyone else. I know this is a huge undertaking, but I am up for the task. What do I have to lose? Time, money (I don't have), really i don't have anything to lose, however i have everything to gain.
