Has anyone thought of contacting the local funeral homes directly? My grandmother passed away two weeks ago and the funeral home director had made a pamphlet for the family members that listed local businesses who could help the families move forward. Flowers, car services, catering, legal help, etc. Why not offer your services as a "kind and caring" property solution for a family in need of liquidating an estate? Let the business come to you instead of sending letters.

Definitely stay on the street and watch them!! If you don't, they get bored and lose interest. I have a cooler with Otter Pops in it and we take breaks to keep them from burning out. Plus I wouldn't feel comfortable just dropping off a group of girls in a neighborhood I don't know. There are way too many creeps out there and I am ultimately responsible for the group's safety.

As for response - I am brand new and don't really have the capitol or knowledge to launch a mailing campaign just yet. But I'm reading as much as I can on BP so I can put a plan together. You guys have awesome information!!

"I would do door hangers or post it notes if I could ever find someone I trust to deliver them."

Do you have access to kids or teens? We've turned it into a game! My daughter (12) gathers up a few friends on a Saturday afternoon for me. Then they pick a "top prize", which is usually a $25 gift card to the mall or Walmart. Everyone starts with an equal number of flyers in their personal stack. I drive to the target neighborhood, yell "1-2-3 GO" and they attack!! At the end of the day, everyone gets a healthy dose of ice cream and the kid who stuck the most flyers gets the top prize of the day. Cheap labor, hilarious to watch, and the kids have a blast while getting exercise!
