I currently have an offer on a 100+ year old home. The only questionable foundation issue is that the dinning room floor slopes toward the outside wall. I looked at all the basement and crawlspace walls, as well as the exterior walls. Outside of a small vertical crack on one of the outside walls the rest look okay. No other floors are sloped and the walls and ceiling look alright. This is an REO and I would offer cash with no inspection contingency. Should I consider a foundation inspection prior to purchasing the home? Thanks!
