Was the mortgage loan of your first deal on your name or the LLC's?

I am sorry but I don't have that information.   One of the Roofing company's warranty is for 10 years and the other is for 20 years.   The first one has a lot of contingencies included and provides  more details of the work to be done.  The first company quotes is for  $12.2K and the other is for $15K.  None of them specify the perimeter of the roof.   The materials they are going to use seem to be the same.   However,   I know the second company has replaced more flat roofs in my neighborhood and is a larger company.   Although it may cost me a bit more  I feel more confortable giving the job to the second  company.

I have a rental townhouse in Reston, VA that has a flat roof. I am in the process of replacing it. The roof is about 18 years old.

Hi Evan:

I feel inspired by your success story.  I want to ask you how did you find your 4-plex.   I am living overseas because I cannot afford to live in the States.  I would like to buy one 4-plex in the Washington, DC area and live in one of them.   My other question was:  Did you buy the 4-plex and rented out all 4 units while living with your parents?
